GHU Paris Psychiatry & Neurosciences, the leading hospital in France for mental illness and diseases of the nervous system, has chosen Hospital Manager, the Electronic Patient Records system from Softway Medical, as part of its IT upgrade plans. The contract was signed in December 2023..
Press release, May 2024
Hospital Manager is currently the most complete solution for all of the hospital’s medical teams, to meet the challenges of our work in both psychiatry and neuroscience. In addition, it seemed to us that the design means the new system will make caregivers’ work easier, which is a major benefit given the pressure we are all experiencing.”
Stéphane PIERREFITTE, Deputy General Manager of GHU Paris.
The HOSPITAL MANAGER solution will make it possible to standardise and simplify medical and administrative practices, improve team coordination, and thus improve the quality and safety of care.
“It is a large-scale project for us, but also an important step in the digital transformation of the mental health sector in France,”.
poursuit Stéphane PIERREFITTE.
Once deployment is complete, scheduled for early 2025, the GHU’ approximately 5,400 healthcare professionals, including nearly 600 doctors, will share medical and administrative patient information seamlessly and securely, which will strengthen the links between primary care and the hospital. The result is better care and more effective use of data for research purposes.
Softway Medical was selected for its expertise in the field of mental health and its ability to offer an integrated and scalable software solution covering a number of sites. Its medical expertise was also a decisive factor, with Hospital Manager already installed in around ten psychiatric establishments, including the Isarien hospital in Clermont de l’Oise (1,500 beds).
