Softway Medical Group certifications

ISO 9001

2004

Softway Medical’s first foray into quality standards, for “medical devices” (medical imaging diagnostic software), achieving ISO 9001 certification.

2011

We expanded the scope of our ISO 9001 certification to include the Hospital Manager and One Manager software packages, and the hosting of personal health data.

2012

The whole company worked on the steps needed to obtain certification in 2012 across the entire business, including software development and support for healthcare institutions, secure hosting of personal health data, and software for medical imaging centres. This certification covers all sites where these activities are carried out: Fuveau, Lyon, Grenoble, and Caen.


Digital Hospital Quality certification – DHQ

Softway Medical was the first publisher of Electronic Patient Record software to obtain this certification in October 2017, a testament to the excellence of its internal processes. 

Backed by the French Ministry of Health, the “Hôpital Numérique” (Digital Hospital) programme supports the digital transition of healthcare institutions to promote service quality and performance. 

Hospital consortia wanted to be able to select publishers who met their expectations and established the Digital Hospital Quality framework for producers. The framework is based on ISO 9001 requirements.

Softway Medical is committed to the same continuous improvement approach as its customers and is organised to meet their expectations as set out in the standards. This is a natural complement to its ISO 9001 certification. This certification highlights the maturity of our design and development methods for our solutions.

Health Data Hosting certification – HDH

When the French government’s Health Data Hosting certification framework was released, partly based on ISO 27001, we were naturally in a position to secure certification in 2019 for all six areas for which a health data hosting provider can be certified:

  • Provision and maintenance of physical sites for hosting IT system infrastructure used to process health data
  • Provision and maintenance of IT system infrastructure used to process health data
  • Provision and maintenance of the application hosting platform for the information system
  • Provision and maintenance of the virtual infrastructure of the information system used to process health data
  • Administration and operation of the information system containing health data
  • Backup of health data

Qualiopi certification

The Qualiopi certification attests to the quality of the training services provided by Softway Medical Service, Softway Medical Imaging, and Nicesoft, allowing our clients to benefit from public or pooled funding.

This certification is granted by an accredited certifying body or an organization authorized by the French Accreditation Committee (COFRAC) based on the national quality framework.
